I have a question! I have been off work for over ten months now, and had no help from my employer so have had to rely completely on the benefits system. I recieve Housing Benefit, but they will not pay all the rent because I am on Incapacity Benefit, which is not means tested. This means I am at a £50 loss each month. I have been finally feeling a little better recently (hoooooray for that!!!) and considering doing some permitted work from home to fill the increasing hole in the bank, but I just found out that if my income increases, my housing benefit decreases, so if I did the full amount of permitted work I would only take home a fraction of what I struggle to earn. Am extremely frustrated! Does anyone have any experience of this? How do you cope? Cheers J
