When you are on the edge of wellness, there is the social pressure to conform to what you used to do, and it's counter productive. One of my greatest worries is actually - what am I going to do when I get well? What then? Ridiculously, probably the most valuable thing I have learned about recovery from M.E. I only learned the other day - that when I am feeling "better" that is the time to rest, rest, rest - because at last the body is able to start healing itself, which it couldn't do properly when symptoms were flared up. That is healing time, not going back to work time. I just wish doctors knew this.
So please sign me up for the Wellies Network - I want to get well(ie) too!
